• JNA's Philosophy - A Holistic Approach

Chiropractic is a complementary and alternative medicine health care profession and an approach to healing concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromuscular system and the effects of these disorders on general health.

Chiropractors emphasize manual therapy including joint adjustments and manipulation with particular focus on joint dysfunction. Although a wide diversity of ideas currently exists among chiropractors, we share the belief that the spine and health are related in a fundamental way, and that this relationship is mediated through the nervous system. Chirporactors examine the biomechanics, structure and function of the spine, along with its effects on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems and what they believe to be its role in health and disease.

Growing up on an organic farm, Dr. Domm was exposed to chiropractic medicine. The family doctor was a chiropractor ( Dr Paul Neidert) believing in natural medicines for healthcare. As a child, she went to the chiropractor for treatment and was given natural herbs to take to rebuild her immune system when she was sick. When injured, she went to the chiropractor for treatment and rehabilitation.

Dr. Domm's early experiences with natural medicine allowed her to choose a natural way of life instead of filling her body with prescription drugs and quick fix medicines.

As a sports chiropractor, she been exposed to all types of athletes and has an impressive resume of clients, including:

  • Why JNA?

    Meet Jonathan, Nicholas, and Alexander

These young men are the inspiration behind Dr. Penny Domm's new chiropractic practice in Portland named JNA Chiropratic. Located just off Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. Chiropractic Treatments, Massage, Accupuncture.

I met my boys when they were four and five. My life has been “full” of joy, laughter, growth and unconditional love ever since. ALEXANDER is quiet and intense. When he speaks, we all need to listen. NICHOLAS is fun, energetic, and intelligent. JONATHAN is strong yet silent.

Each of these characteristics, although many more not mentioned, has made my life what it is today. I am strong, compassionate, empathetic, fun, energetic and lucky to parent these wonderful human beings who just happen to be my sons.
